new handlebars just fine

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Toronto, 2013.10.15

I can't be sure, but I believe that my new handlebars are already helping my back. At least the nagging symptoms I've been dealing with all this time are somewhat reduced.

Having changed to an upright position, I've noticed that I'm not the only one. Especially in my demographic; around the city center in particular such "city bike" styles are very common. And here I thought this development was somewhat original.

rand()m quote

It has always seemed strange to me...The things we admire in men, kindness and generosity, openness, honesty, understanding and feeling, are the concomitants of failure in our system. And those traits we detest, sharpness, greed, acquisitiveness, meanness, egotism and self-interest, are the traits of success. And while men admire the quality of the first they love the produce of the second.
