movie review - Skyfall

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-eight years and a million words

Tokyo, 2012.12.13

I get the gritty tone of the recent Bond films. I do. But the plot of this thing was as strong as a formerly wet and now dry tissue, crinkly and stiff and riddled with holes. And it wasn't fun or engaging in some other way. Devoid of charisma and a challenge to wade through, I think this might be one of the worst Bond movies ever made. Right now, having just been through this thing, I'd rather watch "Thunderball". (shudder)

Not recommended.

A lot of people lose the spirit of childhood. Every child has a lot of imagination and you lose it little by little. I don't know why, but I kept it.
