We'd failed to attend family functions both at Thanksgiving and Christmas, so today we split the difference and dropped in to see Scott & Sue, who hosted both of the missed events. My mum brought my step-grandmother as well, and there were gifts for the kids. I ate an embarrassing amount of food.
Since gluten-intolerant people made up fully three of the eight of us, all of the dishes were wheat/etc free.
