Hallowe'en

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Toronto, 2012.10.31

We went out briefly tonight for Hallowe'en, The Boy went as a pirate. The little one, wrapped in thick layers, had a butterfly costume on. The Boy had fun approaching the different houses, telling them "thank you" as he approached, and then "trick or treat" as he left. The gathering rain of Hurricane Sandy's last hurrah drove us indoors early.

rand()m quote

Work is about a daily search for meaning as well as daily bread; for recognition as well as cash; for astonishment rather than torpor; in short for a sort of life, rather than a monday-to-friday sort of dying.
