To MBA or not to MBA...

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Toronto, 2012.08.31

Now I'm looking at online MBA and other (e.g. MSc) courses, and I can't help but notice that there's a lot more innovation in the space in the UK then there is in Canada. I wonder how that's come to be.

For instance, in the UK it's possible to earn an MSc in Audit. This is directly in line with what I do, and hunting around LinkedIn I see a few Canadians who've completed the program. Where is it's equivalent over here?

rand()m quote

Immature poets imitate mature poets steal bad poets deface what they take and good poets make it into something better or at least something different. The good poet welds his theft into a whole of feeling which is unique utterly different than that from which it is torn the bad poet throws it into something which has no cohesion. A good poet will usually borrow from authors remote in time or alien in language or diverse in interest.
