ridiculous rain
the journal of Michael Werneburg
twenty-seven years and one million words
It rained so hard last night it sounded like a bunch of people were dancing on the roof. We had to stop a video Kenny was watching, because it was impossible to hear.
First time I've seen a downpour that bad (and we've had some good rainfalls of late) since I left Tokyo and its typhoons.
Insane downpours aside, it's been a beautiful summer, a huge turnaround after last year's non-event. That said, it looks like it's going to hit 30ÂșC by Thursday.
Michael, Mayaku, and their girls came over for dinner tonight after Mayuka, Mari, and the kids spent the day on the beach.
