One of the new emperor tetras is now swimming around with a great chunk missing from her stomach.
I suspect that one of the males bit a piece out of her. Billions of bilious blistering barnacles, these fish! We'll see if she survives.
Ken and I played in the park this evening after the (you guessed it; rain!) for so long that the sun almost set before we noticed the time. It was late enough that Mari was relieved when we turned up. He'd been playing with another little boy who repeatedly asked Kenny if he'd be the boy's best friend. 8^)
