new fish

twenty-seven years and one million words
Today I took Ken out on an expedition to Parliament and Carlton to a pet store for some new fish.
I also bought some medicine to treat the fish in the small tank to ensure that whatever it was that charged through and killed all but two of the earlier inmates. I'll be monitoring the situation closely. For the small tank we've restocked on neons. For the large tank I've added six golden zebra danios. I don't think I've ever had danios over the years, they seem a nice addition.
It was so hot today that my little thermos of ice cubes had completely melted by the time we got to the pet store.
