We hit a record temperature of 36°C today, and it was humid.

Well okay, 35.8°C. Happily, we had plans to meet with friends to take the (many!) kids to the Olympic pool at the Beaches. I came along and found Kenny happily bobbing around up to his up-tilt chin in sweet cool water.

Which was promptly shut down over a "fouling" issue. Sigh.

Still, the ensuing picnic was great. It was fun to watch Kenny try to hold his own with four older girls.

rand()m quote

For a long time I was very bitter that the people who controlled the means of anybody ever hearing my songs were never gonna play them. They only favored music that I specifically and particularly hated, and I wanted them dead. Suddenly, there was another avenue. I started hearing my stuff coming out of bars and then it started to happen little by little -- a movie song here or a TV ad there.
