I'm still amazed at how much rents have climbed in Toronto since I left back in '05.
Today we looked at a place with peeling wallpaper, filthy carpets, a kitchen layout that I can only describe as nonsense, and an unacceptable bathroom. It was even a bit off the beaten path, about equidistant from any transit and shopping options. All for $1750 a month. Yikes.
