my father-in-law, the photographer

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-eight years and a million words

Toronto, 2012.02.14

Back in 2006 or maybe 2007, I bought my father-in-law a small point and shoot 6MP camera.

He's since dived right into the field, taking courses and producing ever-better work (he's surpassed my ability, I'd say). In fact, he's become a finalist in a Japan-wide photo contest, submitting an image of two of Kenny's cousins emerging from a bamboo woods into a sun-drenched forested valley bellow.

Way to go, O-tou-san!
