so I'm clean shaved

twenty-eight years and a million words

For the first time since perhaps 2004, I've shaved my beard off.

It wasn't easy, and I look very different. Coworkers tell me I look ten years younger. My wife tells me that I don't look as friendly (but I put that down to the past three exhausting months).

I decided to do it after having shaved down to just mutton-chop sideburns for a lark during the jazz festival. Everyone assured me that they had to go.

There are some pics around, I should probably put them up for a laugh.
