and now for a feast
the journal of Michael Werneburg
twenty-seven years and one million words
I can't recall having had too many feasts prepared by a lawyer-in-waiting, but that's what happened today.
We attended the family's Thanksgiving dinner today in Oakville under a third day of terrific weather, and ate like Kings. My cousin Crystal essentially prepared the entire meal. And as usual, I brought nothing more than my appetite.
The news of Mari's pregnancy was a hit, of course.
Driving home after 22:00, I had a hell of a time keeping my eyes open, and we pulled off of the highway to take the service road for a while. I'm still napping once or twice a day, and still having disrupted sleep at night. Hopefully this will pass with the work load calming down at the office.
