$15 electrical engineer

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-eight years and a million words

Toronto, 2011.09.15

Today on the way to class I spotted a sign posted by an out of work electrical engineer who would accept any work for $15 an hour.

Well, not door to door sales. But "handyman" work was okay.

I miss the 90's. Well, the second-half anyway. You know what? Scrap it, it's been rocky the whole time. Best of luck to you, electrical engineer. I hope someone hires you for the "invention" work you listed.

rand()m quote

A civilization is a heritage of beliefs, customs, and knowledge slowly accumulated in the course of centuries, elements difficult at times to justify by logic, but justifying themselves as paths when they lead somewhere, since they open up for man his inner distance.
