the jetlagged family
the journal of Michael Werneburg
twenty-seven years and one million words
It's kind of fun being the only one in the house not severely jet-lagged; it's like being the designated driver for some drunks.
The boy in particular is pretty wacky. He's excited to have me to hang around with, but he's pretty much incoherent during daylight hours and wants to sleep at a moment's notice.
I left work a bit early today to sign up for a "continuing education" course this coming semester. I'm taking a marketing class that I can later apply to a variety of certificate programs offered by the school (it's a college within Ryerson University). I'm also due to sign up for Japanese classes again. Going to be a busy Autumn!
I then got a haircut in preparation for the wedding on the weekend. I cheated on my usual hair stylist (can anyone who knows me tell that my hair is styled?) because I made the call for an appointment on short notice, but I mitigated the damage by letting my usual stylist (and my friend) Chako know in advance.
