twelve hour day, and what do you get

I've come to the conclusion that running an audit from start to finish strikes me as a difficult way of making a living.
"Happily" I was by no means thrown into this cold, but today was a killer. I've spent the past several weeks developing processes, coaching staff and executives, firming up plans and communications with vendors, and essentially living in a snowstorm of paperwork.
I have certainly had easier jobs.
Three good things that happened today:
1. It rained twice today but I dodged it in both directions (because I worked so late)
2. Thanks to the audit, I was taken for Japanese food for lunch
3. Mari and Kenny had a fine day with friends.
