14 years and what do you get

twenty-seven years and one million words
Yahoo sent me a funny email on the weekend. It starts with, "We appreciate that you have been with Yahoo! Mail for the past 14 years."
It's funny because in 2003 when I was dabbling in gmail (you remember, when Google was still interesting?) my Yahoo! email account went unused for about six months. At that time Yahoo! deleted all of my mail without warning. Google, at the time, was in the midst of rolling out gigs and gigs of storage space for their email clients. Faced with a dead email box at Yahoo and a few months of mail in the Google account, I naturally stayed with Google.
That was eight years ago, so my "being with" Yahoo! mail for fourteen years is a bit of a stretch.
