I lived in Vancouver for a year, so I can appreciate this joke.

Come to think of it, there was a surprisingly large snowstorm in the Winter during my year there. I asked some kids playing in the snow if it rained like that every year, and neither had even seen it snow in the city before. The older one must have been pushing ten.
