first snow play time
the journal of Michael Werneburg
twenty-seven years and one million words
Kenny got a snow jacket and mitts from his Oma and Opa for X'mas. They got some use today when we took him out to play in the fresh snow.
It was about -5oC today, and the snow resisted snowballs and snowmen. But he managed to get plenty into his clothing and of course got his socks, pants, and mitts soaked.
And he smashed the first snow man he ever encountered. Well, Buddha. And then he used a rake to make a Zen garden. A specially impermanent one, almost as impermanent as my "Buddha statue".
