wrong again, weathernetwork.ca

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Toronto, 2011.07.18

I don't know why I bother with Toronto weather reports. They've been so wrong it's hard to tell if they're being serious.

Today was a perfect example. Hot and muggy, but the weather forecasters had us all wandering around with umbrellas and other useless rain gear. I cycled in because my aging eyes told me that the forecast was wrong again, and I'm glad I did. I didn't need the waterproof bags or the towel I brought, but I didn't wind up taking two unnecessary and stifling street car rides, either.

I was a little slower than usual while cycling in this morning. Feeling yesterday's trip!

rand()m quote

Illusions commend themselves to us because they save us pain and allow us to enjoy pleasure instead. We must therefore accept it without complaint when they sometimes collide with a bit of reality against which they are dashed to pieces.
