Today I went to the day care an hour early to watch a video prepared by the teachers.
They showed us the kids going through their day. Including eating, sleeping, playing, and even having one fun outdoor activity involving some sort of squishy body paint.
The highlights came in:
- seeing Kenny falling asleep as he ate
- watching the two year olds squirm as they were put to bed, while the one year olds all slept like stones
- the boys playing with the train set, each child with his head on the floor to make the trains look larger
- watching the body paint activity border on chaos
It was fun! I'm really glad for this program and for the chance to get away from work at 17:00 on a Friday. I'm a rare man in this country for having that opportunity let alone the ability to spend the time with his child.
