fumbling with camera equipment

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Tottori, 2010.04.11

I fear that I've managed to bugger up quite a lot of the photos of Jon and Manami-san's wedding.

It's been so long since I used the gear that I was reading the exposure meter on the back of the flash incorrectly and had the aperture far too open for the strength of the flash and the distances involved. Looks like maybe 2-3 stops of over exposure. Ulp.

At least I was shooting 400 film, which has great latitude. But then again it was colour film, too, the last stuff you want to overexpose. Waaaah.

You have to choose between trusting to the natural stability of gold and the natural stability of the honesty and intelligence of the members of the Government. And, with due respect for these gentlemen, I advise you, as long as the Capitalist system lasts, to vote for gold.
