Tokyo weather report

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Tokyo, 2010.02.25

It's now suddenly decided to get Spring-like on us again. Only this time I think it might stay.

We had an odd "Winter" in Tokyo this year. It was occasionally bitingly cold but for the most part it was curiously warm. I suppose it comes down to which of the area's two ocean currents holds sway: the chilly one coming down from the north east, or the warm one coming from the south west. In any event, we had to keep our young boy well bundled throughout because his small body gets chilled easily.

Not so any more. The gloves have literally come off, and we're down to one layer of jacket over his vest. It makes life quite a bit easier as there's less effort involved in getting him out the door in the morning, and less unwrapping at the day care end.

I for one welcome the mild weather.

rand()m quote

Some people talk about living every day like it might be their last. Maybe that's good advice. Carpe diem and all that. But perhaps it's better to try to live every day like it might be everyone's last. If there are people in your life who are important to you, let them know...
