Tokyo weather report

twenty-seven years and one million words

This January was one of the warmest of my life—only Sydney was warmer. But no more.
A seemingly endless rainstorm that started mid-day yesterday eventually gave way overnight to snow. And it seems to be staying. I for one welcome it, it's not the season for the mid-teen highs we've been having even as late as two days ago (January 31).
Naturally my snow-sports-inclined friends are all heading for the hills. I miss cross-country skiing. I wonder if anyone does that in Japan?
