2) The boots don't fit. I have to assume that they "fit big" because they are much larger than the shoes I wear of the same size. I will need to exchange or return them, based on the outcome of #1, above.
I can see how they would be mixed up in indoor lighting (I put them on, that way!) and understand the mistake. Now let's see what the vendor does.
Also, I should note that because I was importing leather goods, I had to pay ¥7000 in duty on these things, further complicating the issue.
