It's a spot where several different food stands are operated by different people, all under the same roof. It's a hang-out for anyone who's been out on one of the touring boats, too, so Kenny got to watch the boats pull in and unload their passengers.
And at the end of the night, a magic show! Two strangers approached.

One of them spoke English to narrate the magic trick that the other was putting on. The fellow with the cards was really quite good, and had us all fooled.

Kenny fell asleep at some point, but the good times carried on at home. Our guests stayed until 01:00, when Mari and I were forced to go to sleep. It was the latest night we'd had in a long, long time (barring emergency hospital visits and similar situations).
Selfish leaders increase risk by placing themselves first. It's a fundamental mistake to assume that what is good for us personally is mutually exclusive to what is good for everyone. That kind of zero-sum game is for cowards, and in the end, we all pay the price for this type of latent, toxic leadership.
