Today I set out to reset the password on my credit card so that I could make Internet purchases. Instead I canceled the service!

I found my way through the bizarre website of the Japanese bank that provides the credit card. It's a Japanese-only site. Piecing together what I could, I found myself correctly entering this and that bit of information.

Only, I'd selected the wrong menu item. One small error meant that I wasn't resetting my password but canceling Internet purchase capability. Sadly, I had to turn it over to my wife to undo what I'd done. She thinks it's a good step because I was able to do something. If only it had been a positive or at least non-destructive thing and a make-work project for her. 8(
