I've got the good news from the camera repair shop in Illinois that accepted my old XD-11. The work is done, and it's on the way back. At the same time, I got my test rolls back and it seems that the X-700 light seal fix did the job -- no more light leaks!

I'm still not sure about the meter in my old 35DC rangefinder, but I'm not done experimenting with it, either.

Here's what it looked like when I had my XD unit apart to fix the viewfinder (semi-successfully, as it turned out).
