HIE no more

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Tokyo, 2009.06.23

I took my last* roll of HIE black and white infrared-sensitive film into Horiuchi this morning for development. It's a pro lab, the only one that I regularly use.

They turned down my film. They no longer develop it. I guess that's what I get for keeping it in the fridge for two years! 8( I'm left with National, another lab, but it's a fair haul out to Harajuku just for the purpose.

*Looks like this may well be my last roll period! I don't think that Kodak's actually stopped making the stuff but they've just announced the end of the line for Kodachrome, much to my amazement.

rand()m quote

A lot of people lose the spirit of childhood. Every child has a lot of imagination and you lose it little by little. I don't know why, but I kept it.
