easily scared

twenty-seven years and one million words

Strangely enough, the boy's begun a new thing recently where he scares easily. An example occurred on the weekend when Kenny and I were reading through a book. I was lying on my back, and he was sitting next to me. He pointed at a dog in the book, then pointed excitedly out the window making his doggie noise. I sat up quickly to see if he thought that there was a dog outside (on the balcony!?) and said, "what is it?" He bolted to his feet and began to run for the kitchen, bawling.

It's happened a few times. I don't know what it means.
