Mari's got a new desk for the office/bedroom. She got it for sewing and for using her PC. I'm rather impressed; for $100 you can get some decent home furnishings, with no assembly required so it shouldn't collapse like some IKEA junk.
I have to say I approve of the Japanese Internet/catalog market. Things arrive in a timely fashion, delivery costs are next to nothing, and you can generally find decent quality goods. What a difference from ordering stuff from North America. Again, I find myself thinking to our own business aspirations. I hope "Caritas" will find a home in that 'channel'.
