The barbershop that cut Kenny's hair has posted a photo of our son to their website.
I forwarded this to my family, and my father responded saying:
What a cute photo. The start of many visits to barber shops. This actually reminds me of my first visit to a barber to have my hair cut. This was in Burgdorf to a little 2 man shop where the guy who cut my hair actually was a POW. I believe he was a French soldier who obviously was not suffering so terribly as a forced labourer.
A good reminder of what privileged times we live in, and an important piece of historical context for the family.
