During her recent visit, my mother told my wife that when my brother and I were small my dad would fret that she was was kissing us too much, that it would "turn us gay".
So I've been routinely kissing The Boy and telling him "kisses to turn you gay".
But it hasn't been working. Whenever he's around young women, he flirts and makes his happiest noises and generally acts in an animated fashion. I'll redouble my efforts!
