Sometimes I take photos of rather mundane things like whatever is under my feet, or whatever wall or doorway I happen to be passing. It doesn't make for gripping, visceral stuff, but I enjoy making scenes out of a few odd shapes on the ground, or capturing some of the countless incidental man-made arrangements that mark our public spaces.
Here are some recently examples. These were taken in Gotanda within minutes of one another on an overcast day.
