happy anniversary to me!

twenty-seven years and one million words
I'd decided on a birthday gift to myself from my wife, and informed her that I wanted a box of film, specifically Ilford's excellent FP4.
So I hopped on my bike, and headed off in search of a box of 20-30 rolls of the stuff. On the way, I decided to see Yano-san at the bike shop, and bought a new tube to replace the one that had re-opened on me on Thursday.
He told me that I've essentially worn out my rear tire (which would explain the many flats I've had) and that I should replace it in a month's time. I'm going to get something stronger next time, so I don't spend so much time changing tires!
Then I got to Bic, but found that they don't carry boxes of the film. (>_<) So I picked up a dozen rolls and headed for home.
Along the way, I did some twilight pics of buildings and temples and whatnot, and it occurred to me that I've been in the country two years, as of today. Sure have packed in a lot of life changes!
Naturally, I didn't make it back without getting another flat. I think I'm going to have to get that tire replaced sooner than next month.
