camera leather
the journal of Michael Werneburg
twenty-seven years and one million words
I got my third set of new leather from cameraleather.com today. This one was for the older of my two Minolta X-700 bodies -- the one that went with me to Ireland, Australia, Fiji and Mexico in more carefree days.
I bought the black "griptac" style of covering, and I have to say I'm really impressed. It's much better than the stuff that the Minolta came with. One of the few aggravating things about the X-700 is the hard pointy covering that they put in the thumb rest and grip on the right side. With that now gone, the difference in handling the camera is astonishing. I know it's a basic all-plastic body but .. wow. Well done, Camera Leather guys!
