gettin' old

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Tokyo, 2008.02.16

Looking at a recent photo of me, I can't help but notice that I'm looking creased and haggard. And more grey. Also, more flabby. I'm .. I'm geting old!

Well, beats the alternative. And hell, you can't help your body getting old, but you can still do child-like things like wear a baby's bib and pretend to be refusing your food.

Or so it would seem.

Note, 2020.01.02: Bwahahaha!

rand()m quote

Immature poets imitate mature poets steal bad poets deface what they take and good poets make it into something better or at least something different. The good poet welds his theft into a whole of feeling which is unique utterly different than that from which it is torn the bad poet throws it into something which has no cohesion. A good poet will usually borrow from authors remote in time or alien in language or diverse in interest.
