I had my session with my writing coach tonight. I'm very glad I did it. To any aspiring novelists out there: get a writing coach if you're "just about done" your first novel but have some reservations. I paid about the rate that I've seen posted on the website of a few editors. It was well worth it.
She suggested many changes and revisions, and made a lot of corrections to my text. I've got my work cut out for me now, but that's why I did this.
