Back online. Again.

I had journal items in late 2006 and throughout 2007. But you'd never know, because they were wiped out in a catastrophic database failure. My internet service provider -- webserve.ca -- was running their service without doing any backups of the database servers for some months. This meant that they were unable to recover from some error, and I lost all my work.

In return, they lost a client! My new provider -- netfirms.ca -- allows me to do my own backups, so I'm operating without fear of a recurrence. In the mean time, I'm piecing together what I can.

[ edit: 2022.01.15 - Netfirms would let you down with a nasty security bug that would see all of their sites be rated as spam/scam sites. But I like your optimism! -Future Michael ]
