My father-in-law's new camera

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-eight years and a million words

Tokyo, 2007.09.03

My father-in-law's camera packed it in. I did a bit of shopping, and determined that the Fuji A610 looked like a capable and no-nonsense model. It's a reasonably inexpensive and trivially easy-to-use model with a good-quality lens and a modern sensor.

He's enjoying it, and I've seen some impressive results. The quality of the images actually exceeds my expectations.

Well done, Fuji.

rand()m quote

I feel fortunate that I enjoyed the blandishments of modernity. I had hip replacement and root canal. I was able to travel on airplanes. I was able to take cheap food for granted. I went to the movies. I enjoyed rock 'n' roll. And now I'm ready to move on.
