I have taken to making myself natto donburi every morning for breakfast. Today I switched from Thai rice (yummy) to Basmati rice (yummy!). And the difference is exactly what I needed to perfect my recipe. So, now that it's "perfect", I'll share it.

Ingredients:

1 package of natto (they usually come in packs of three)

1 egg

1 green onion

80ml of basmati rice

soy sauce

1. Get a rice cooker with a timer function and set it to cook your rice for you when you'll be ready to eat. Put in 80ml of basmati rice and twice that amount of water.

2. When the rice is ready,

put it in a small bowl, and break the egg over the bowl. Mix well, and set aside.

3. Chop of the green onion

4. Open the thing of natto and mix in the small packet of mustard that comes with the natto.

5. Pour in a bit of the soy sauce, and mix that in, as well.

6. Dump the natto onto your rice/egg mix, and sprinkle the whole thing with your green onion

Done!

The problem is not people being uneducated. The problem is that people are educated just enough to believe what they have been taught, and not educated enough to question anything from what they have been taught.
