Well, I've once again managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. After turning down the job from the fellow that demanded an answer immediately, the second verbal offer was rescinded. So now I'm out two job offers.
Dunno how I managed it, but I guess I might have waited for the signed contract from party #2. At the very least, this saves me a 60-minute commute every morning and every night.
