provincial, but gorgeous

Today we took the rental car down to the Ovens, near Bridgewater where my uncle Horst and aunt Barbara live.
It was a beautiful sunny day, and while there wasn't enough wave action to make the Ovens too terribly active, it also wasn't as hellishly windy as it was in 1997 when Jan and Ken and I visited the spot.
The drive down to Bridgewater (especially the bit back from the Ovens to the town) was nice. Nova Scotia is a gorgeous province, really. Provincial, but gorgeous.
