My girlfriend got into town last night, and I have the day off. One of the first things I discovered was that in my state of antici.....pation yesterday morning, I'd left the iron. For over 24 hours, as it turned out. "Did you leave the iron on?!" I exclaimed.

"No!" she retorted. "And I didn't adjust the thermostat or any of the other things."

"No, no, I was just wondering if I left the iron on yesterday. Oh God. At least it's on 'acrylic' - good thing I was ironing work clothes."

rand()m quote

Immature poets imitate mature poets steal bad poets deface what they take and good poets make it into something better or at least something different. The good poet welds his theft into a whole of feeling which is unique utterly different than that from which it is torn the bad poet throws it into something which has no cohesion. A good poet will usually borrow from authors remote in time or alien in language or diverse in interest.
