Today at work I was told I'd be on 'shift' next week. Apparently every week one member of the group is on a 10 AM to 7 PM shift. I'd asked during my many interviews if there was any shift work involved, and they'd said no, but really this isn't too outrageous.
A number of us went for drinks after work. Another surprise - the 'engagement' between Keane and Morgan Stanley is only three years in duration. It really sounds as if M/S thinks they're taking quite a risk, with Keane.
After the boozing and gossip, I met with Charlie for dinner and more drinks. We went to a Greek place. It was good.
