where do I begin...

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Halifax, 2004.04.25

Where do I begin. In the past two weeks, I've been busy imploding.

My girlfriend and I have been having a bit of a bad time. They seem to be past us, now, and we're still strong.

In fact, we're planning to end this long-distance-horseshit once and for all. Either she will be down here in two months time, or I'll be in Toronto once again. It's that simple.

rand()m quote

A civilization is a heritage of beliefs, customs, and knowledge slowly accumulated in the course of centuries, elements difficult at times to justify by logic, but justifying themselves as paths when they lead somewhere, since they open up for man his inner distance.

—Antoine de Saint-Exupery
