A day for odds and ends. I contacted the power utility and the phone company about getting service hooked up.
And both managed to get their respective jobs done before 3:30 in the afternoon! This place seems to be the opposite of Vancouver, in that regard. Whereas in Vancouver everything attracts lots of Sturm and Drang yet little gets done, these Haligonians just seem to quietly go do their thing.
