resume review

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Toronto, 2003.11.28

I got my resume critiqued by the good people at the federal government's Department of Human Resources 'resource centre' staff today. I also learned that they have a service for people who have been on employment insurance at any point in the past three years. You can go into a program for starting your own business: during that time, they'll pay you $300/wk and advise you on how to run the business.

Pretty damn good, I'd say.

rand()m quote

A civilization is a heritage of beliefs, customs, and knowledge slowly accumulated in the course of centuries, elements difficult at times to justify by logic, but justifying themselves as paths when they lead somewhere, since they open up for man his inner distance.

—Antoine de Saint-Exupery
