met a woman with a camera

The power seems to be pretty much stable, today, thankfully. I've been over to the office repeatedly turning on the servers in an effort to keep the mail flowing. Our ISP is still in a coma, but we're ready to go when those customers come calling.
Today was really a gorgeous summer day. Yesterday was hot as hell and quite unpleasant, but I suppose that's the norm in August in this city in this era.
I spent quite a bit of the day walking around the city, and found a new ravine I hadn't yet explored. Along the way I met a woman who was carrying her own radio (set to some surprisingly Lawrence Welk style music given that she was maybe 27 years old). She was also carrying a camera - we chatted for a bit until I got a call from a cousin who's here in town.
