Tonight my mum and I went to dinner to discuss our work woes over Thai food at a place on Bayview called "Satay by the road". It really is one of the best Thai places in the city, even if its authenticity is suspect. It's an unassuming place (the placemats feature the cocktails that they offer) but the food is really excellent and the prices are surprisingly low.
As for the cocktails; they make a fine whisky sour.
